So Let me Introduce Myself

Hi everyone, this is KaiMing here. Heh.

Well, AhGoh invited me to coauthor for this blog; so, well, here I am — my very first entry. NICE.

First thing first, hmm…I have a confession to make(sort of) — welllll, I’m very much an arty farty, anime-crazy, photography has-been, nature-loving kinda guy. Sooo (to avoid any future complaints), I guess I have to state upfront that what I’m going to bring in will invariably be different from our hyper-active and super adventurous Mr Goh here.

It will mainly revolve around the Arts scene — exhibitions, galleries, museums, workshops, concerts, movies and all that kinda stuff. Yup. And, I have to add that I’m a proud advocate for ‘free entertainment’. Well, I’m helping you save some of your hard-earned $$ too, you know. Heh.

Seeya around and Have a Nice weekend, mate!

Fun rolling like a Hamster in A Ball (zorbing)

Woo, I last saw this in 1990s Jackie Chan's film but never thought this is real. Roll like a Hamster down the hill!

What: Zorbing (roll like a hamster in a ball!)
Who: www.zovbsg.com /www.adventour.com.sg
Where: Old Holland Road

Rates: Zovbsg offers 50 dollars for 2 rolls down the hill
35 dollars for students and children

Adventour offers 50 dollars for 2 roll down.

Verdict:
Ok, I've made some enquiries with the people there and they've mention that the slope is gentle and inclined @ around 20-25 degrees and hence require some pushing at the top for the ball to roll.

How fun is it to roll like ball and then climb back up like a hamster? I leave it to you guys to decide man. Remember, reinvent and have fun with your weekends =)

P.s please don't flame me if you all think this is an ridiculous thing to do. Remember I'll give ideas of interesting activities to do and everyone's opinions differ.

Weekend Toys and Antique Bazaar @ Far East Sqaure

Your favorite super heroes like Optimus Prime from Transformer, Skywalker from Star Wars are all there. So are things that u don't believe you can see them again, like old school iron, vinyl songs, vintage coka-cola bottles.

If you have time to spare on a lazy Sunday, why not pay a visit down to Far East Square, where the weekly toys and antique bazaar is held. Lots of collectible toys and antiques you can find there, @ discounted and bargainable prices too.. Check out some of the pics below.

WhO: China Square Central Toys and Antique Bazaar
When: Sundays late morning till late afternoon (around 5)
Where: China Square (near chinatown opposite hong lim complex)

Verdict:

Toys collectors, movies, anime and comic fans you have just found your haunt! Theres so full of bargain and undiscovered gems in this place I guess you can spend a hour or 2 here. Oh and bring cash there, because the merchants there normally do only accept cash. Ladies if you need a gift for your bf, why not make a trip down there and get something for him?
